Mini Babies!

I have always dreamed of making my own party needs shop. I wanted to make invites,  souvenirs for parties, weddings, etc. and so much more! With that in mind, I've been trying to design my own unique style of souvenirs and so this is where the search for baby photography  came in. I was inspired by so many cute photoshoots of infants I knew I just had to try making them into sculptures! You ready to see them?

Well, after looking at them again, I realized that the face is kinda scary. LOL. SO i'm still working on sculpting a new face. Here's a picture:

Can't wait to perfect these little sculptures! I love sculpting babies <3

In other news, I went shopping the other day and saw this made in china Elsa from Frozen  doll in the shops that I couldn't resist taking her home!

Agh! So pretty for a fake doll right? And it cost me only Php150 (around USD$ 3). I can't wait to redesign her outfit and fix her hair up a bit :)

Well that's it for now. I've got a few sculptures in progress so I'll take some pictures of them for you. Ta ta!

Micromini Jollibee Champ Burger

For my first post here, I thought I'd share with you one of the most famous fast food chains here in my country: Jollibee. I have a love for burgers, and have always wanted to find the best burgers in the world. I've tasted a  few, but Jollibee burgers are still one of my favorites. Oh, the miniature, I almost forgot! 

I made these with poylmer clay (Premo, Klayleen, Nendo) and TLS. The fries were a pain to make! I really need a magnifier to make these small things! Anyway, this wasn't my first attempt that day. I burnt the first one *insert sniffing and tears here*

I was experimenting with the oven temperature and thought it would be okay to turn it up a little. Boy was I wrong! Oh well. I think the second one came out really well.

Hi! This is my first post in this blog! Hey! I just wanted to start fresh and so this blog was born.

A little about me

I'm Marge, I am a registered nurse, but my heart has always been in the arts, portraiture, painting, sculpting, crafts- you name it. I love exploring different media and I am currently into polymer clay and digital art. I will be posting my adventures with my crafts and some tutorials in the future so stay tuned for that!

This is my dog, Crumpy. I love her to bits! I rescued her as a puppy on the streets. She's smart, funny and just a real joy to be around. I love to dress her up in clothes that I make /buy. She loves riding cars and scooters and loves a good scratch behind the neck and her back. You'll see more of her and her kids here.
